DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW


The Strategy & Development Team is responsible for leading the business and strategy functions for NBCU's Digital and Advanced TV advertising sales business. Within the Strategy & Development Team, the Partnerships Team builds and operates a portfolio of ad sales partnerships with leading and emerging digital platforms. That includes identifying profitable revenue opportunities, developing the structure, partnerships, capabilities, go-to-market strategies, and execution plans necessary to capture the growth opportunities, and driving those plans to implementation and through ongoing operations. We partner closely with the sales teams, product teams, and content teams to manage and drive rapid revenue growth.


Position Overview


The high-growth digital Partnerships team is seeking an experienced professional to join as the Analyst, Partnerships with a focus on our New Media Partnerships portfolio. We're looking for an exceptional, results-oriented individual who uniquely combines the interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally within NBCU’s Ad Sales division and the quantitative skills to analyze and grow the business. The Analyst, Partnerships will support the Partnerships team in identifying and implementing growth opportunities and track key performance metrics to measure success.


Responsibilities


  • Track and report on monthly/quarterly performance across key ad partnerships, develop measurement approaches, and produce actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Work closely with NBCU Sales team to identify and cultivate leads for strategic account leads to foster revenue growth
  • Work closely with internal teams such as, planning, product, and marketing stakeholders to inform insights, improve existing business operations, and support the execution of new initiatives to drive growth
  • Work cross-functionally to track performance and measure success across new advertising partnerships
  • Conduct research of advertising technology, media industry trends and market conditions and provide insights to the partnerships and sales teams
  • Leverage various data sources (e.g., NBCU Internal budgeting and reporting systems, SalesForce) and tools to produce impactful reports and insights around partnership performance, sales activity and monetization opportunities
  • Support the Partnerships team by providing project management and cross-functional support in the launch of new partnerships


Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Excellent organizational, time, and people management skills and the ability to work in groups and independently
  • Proven quantitative analytical abilities, including Excel modeling skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, advertising, strategy, media research, finance, or consulting
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and proven proficiency in summarizing information/analyses into coherent and concise slides

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.


This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
