What is the key purpose of an Account Manager?


As an Account Manager working on the Strategic Partnerships team in New York City, you will work with Taboola’s top partner to help implement and launch Taboola’s solutions on their properties, track post-launch performance, and provide strategic direction for new opportunities to grow revenue. You will largely focus on optimizing existing relationships by upselling new solutions, and improving performance KPIs across multiple properties.


What skills and qualifications do I need?


For This Role It Is Essential That You Have


  • 3+ years of professional experience in AdTech, digital media, and/or programmatic partnerships. Experience with bidded environments is strongly preferred
  • Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills, coupled with superior communication skill and phone/email etiquette
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural and ever-evolving environment
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data
  • Technical aptitude or strong interest in understanding the tech side of the business (API, JS, SDK)
  • Dedicated and creative in order to pull all necessary resources for the client


What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?


As An Account Manager You Will


  • Monitor and triage daily performance across Partner implementations, escalate internally as needed
  • Actively engage with the partner on a daily basis, providing problem solving assistance, participating in external calls and meetings and pitching opportunities ensure high quality service and foster growth.
  • Work with the team’s Business Analysts to own all monthly and weekly Partner custom reporting, along with all ensuing communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare for and attend internal and external weekly meetings, QBRs, and client events as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with a broader team across multiple disciplines: Professional Services, R&D, Product, and Algo
  • Understand the partner’s strategic objectives / KPIs and map Taboola’s capabilities to the partner’s needs

The pay range for this position in New York is $80,000 - $95,000. This role is also eligible to participate in Taboola’s commission plan under which you might be eligible for total on-target earnings of $100,000 - $125,000 in accordance with such plan. The pay and commission offered may vary depending on several factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We may offer several perks as part of the compensation package that include a discretionary bonus, equity, flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, a competitive 401(k) match, paid parental leave, etc.
