Job Description
If you are a passionate, innovative project coordinator who has a background in human resources and or operations, this role is for you!


The Onboarding and Retention Coordinator manages team member engagement and onboarding programs and initiatives to drive retention, enhance the overall employment experience, and ensure alignment with company culture. We want you to help us retain the wonderful team members we bring in and ensure they have a world-class employment experience.


  • Executes and drives engagement tasks through the company and various programs in collaboration with department leaders
  • Partners with the talent acquisition department to review the interview and hiring processes to improve the selection and retention of qualified candidates
  • Coordinate with supporting teams to ensure onboarding activities are completed in a timely manner. Track Onboarding activities to completion
  • Conducts team member satisfaction surveys and insight sessions to gather team member feedback regarding the employment experience. Reports on the feedback collected and integrates feedback into the development of retention strategies, programs, and initiatives
  • Assist our new employees in successfully accessing, learning and/or configuring various platforms such as ADP, Outlook, and Zywave for trainings
  • Triage onboarding issues and collaborate with internal teams to prioritize and resolve them
  • Drives a comprehensive onboarding program that is in alignment with the company’s culture, supports new team members through onboarding, and sets them up for long-term success with the organization
  • Creates, implements, and manages team member engagement, retention, and onboarding strategies, initiatives, and programs in partnership with human resources team members, operation leaders, and other business partners
  • Follow internal processes
  • Responsible for coaching, and motivating pending new hires to complete their onboarding tasks in a timely manner
  • Track Onboarding Success & Experience activities
  • Manages, tracks, and reports on key turnover and retention metrics and utilizes metrics to identify trends and make recommendations
  • Dedicated point of contact to onboard new employees by representing IABA and demonstrating the onboarding process with expertise
  • Interact with employees via email and video calls to introduce them to the onboarding process
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of engagement and retention programs and drives ongoing process improvement
  • Participates as a member of the Culture & Retention committee and implements recognition and appreciation programs across the organization


Requirements


  • Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility
  • Assertiveness and leadership to drive the execution of tasks
  • Multi-location, experience a plus
  • Minimum of two years of human resources or operations experience with a focus on employee engagement is preferred
  • Positive attitude, empathy, and high energy
  • A process mind to work in a high-volume environment
  • Tech savviness - the words CSV, PDF, JPEG, Excel; along with ADP, Zywave, Canva, Microsoft, and Google do not scare you, they excite you
  • Ability to troubleshoot, and be resourceful to find solutions
  • Impeccable communication, both written and verbal, and presentation
  • A high degree of commitment and resilience as you work to enable the best outcomes for our employees
  • Ability to think through problems and prioritize tasks based on their relative importance
