Job Description

New Business Development / Account Manager - Custom Headwear & Apparel


We’re a small team looking for a motivated self-starter to lead our new business development and account management. Responsibilities include generating leads, pursuing new client opportunities in the headwear and apparel retail industry, and presenting service offerings that align with existing and potential client roadmaps and strategic initiatives. Main objective is to identify opportunities to sell services and maintain communication with stakeholders at all levels.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.
  • Set sales goals, develop and execute strategy to win new business across the retail industry.
  • Research prospects and generate leads.
  • Manage sales process from quote to product delivery.
  • Execute growth strategy, pipeline development and management for existing accounts.
  • Facilitate monthly performance meetings.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals through collaboration with internal teams.


Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of a business.
  • Business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • A focus on relationships, ability to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated.
