Overview
The New Business Sales Executive works as part of our sector teams to drive revenue growth in the US. through the application of their subject matter and consultative sales expertise. The New Business Sales Executive will identify areas of opportunity, qualify, and close deals to improve Mobica’s business with new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching prospects or acting upon lead generation from Marketing to identify key opportunities, generating interest, and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Guide and provide input into end-to-end lead generation, sales campaigns, and coordinate RFI/RFP processes.
- In addition to successfully converting new target accounts, create the foundation for long-term, value-based relationships.
- Bring a ‘hunting’ mindset to all market and sales opportunities - create and execute pursuit strategies, building “win-win” value propositions at a target company and individual level with prospective clients.
- Work closely within Mobica’s sector organization to provide input into new service offerings.
- Grow a strong qualified pipeline of new clients and existing client opportunities.
- Map client organizations, creating sales strategies for developing new business opportunities.
- Record and keep up-to-date sales forecasts in the CRM system.
- Be knowledgeable on Cognizant’s wider industry offerings, products, credentials, and case studies.
- Be highly visible and active in price negotiations and contractual agreements to close the sale.
- Maintain an awareness of market trends and provide feedback that impacts Mobica’s and Cognizant’s business.
- Participate in the regular sales pipeline and business review cadences
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge on current industry trends
- Experience developing opportunity pipelines, qualifying high-priority deals, and winning new business
- Ability to manage the entire sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to contracting
- Technology and consulting acumen with the ability to positively translate this into business value
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and think "outside the box" to creatively solve problems
- Proven track record of success, delivering to and exceeding sales quotas.
- Well-rounded knowledge of software technologies and project delivery.
- 5+ years’ experience in selling software & technologies services.
- Experience engaging with C-level stakeholders at the business and technology level, using a consultative selling approach to maximize client outcomes
