- Conduct structured outreach to potential customers through various communication channels, including email, phone calls, and social media, to generate leads and explore business opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
- Assist in conducting market research to identify target customer segments and refine our customer acquisition strategy.
- Maintain and update a database of potential clients, ensuring accurate and detailed records of interactions and progress.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of our business development and sales strategies.
- Assist in coordinating sample distribution to potential customers, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up.
- Support the team in preparing sales presentations, marketing collateral, and proposals as needed.
- Attend team meetings, contribute ideas and insights, and actively participate in brainstorming sessions.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to report on outreach results, customer feedback, and market insights.
- Previous experience in business development or sales within the food industry or a novel food brand is a plus.
- Strong interest in business development, sales, and the food industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with potential customers professionally and effectively.
- Passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to the development of environmentally friendly food alternatives.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in GSuite, CRM Software. Experience with sales analytics tools is a plus.
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s or MBA degree program in business, marketing, or a related field. Recent graduates are also welcome.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
