Position Title: Junior Instructional Designer
Type: 10-month project (July 2023 - June 2024)
Location: Remote
Salary: $5,000 per month
Role Expectations
You will play a crucial role in designing user-friendly interfaces for virtual K-12 courses, with a specific emphasis on engagement and user experience for the dropout/re-engagement and alternative education market.
Role Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree or certification in web design or a directly related field
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in instructional design and working with Articulate 360
License/Certification: Computer Information Systems degree preferred but not required
Background Check: Must demonstrate a clear state and federal criminal history
Role Responsibilities
Collaborate with curriculum experts to develop online course content within the learning management system, utilizing Articulate 360 and other relevant tools, for virtual course delivery.
Conduct necessary updates and quality assurance revisions to courses, ensuring ongoing improvements in the online learning system.
Create graphics, interactive learning activities, audio, and video content that aligns with the instructional goals of the courses for virtual course delivery.
Participate in meetings, processes, and professional development opportunities to effectively implement and maintain virtual learning programs and services.
Work closely with the Course Development Team and other Digital Developers to design high-quality online learning resources, catering to engaging and relevant learning experiences for students and adult learners.
Stay updated on personal development skill sets, including researching interactive learning tools, universal design standards, and accessibility requirements.
Provide regular project status updates using project management software.
Required Qualifications
Proficient knowledge of Articulate 360/Storyline and Adobe Suite.
Ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision.
Experience using Google Workspace.

A computer Information Systems degree is preferred but not required.
Relevant IT experience and/or certifications are a plus.
