We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. Responsibilities
Assist in a variety of human resources activities, including recruiting, training, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
Play a vital role in recruiting and onboarding medical staff and other candidates, ensuring verification of credentials, work history, and conducting background checks.
Collaborate with senior staff to accomplish additional human resource objectives and projects, such as creating and implementing process flows, employee engagement programs, and training and development initiatives.
Support with document management, research, record-keeping, and answering basic human resource-related questions.
Contribute to the administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with legal requirements.
Assist with employee relations programs, new employee orientation, and employee recognition initiatives.
Participate in attracting qualified candidates through position announcements, advertising, and job fairs.
Conduct interviews, perform background and reference checks, negotiate salary offers, and handle internal communications.
Conduct exit interviews, gather feedback, and communicate findings to senior management.
Assist with training sessions, provide support, and resolve problems.
Coordinate the distribution and communication of various projects, such as the Employee Policy Handbook, 401(k), open enrollment, and employee engagement and recognition programs.
Update and track certifications, as well as process re-certifications.
Support HR document management and assist in research for workers' compensation, employment verifications, insurance claims, etc.
Contribute to the administration of company compensation and benefits programs.
Perform other related duties as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field OR 3-5 years of related work experience in an administrative capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat programs.
Minimum 1 Year Of Medical Recruiting Experience Required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum 1 year of experience using an HRIS & ATS system (ADP, PAYCOM, GUSTO).
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
Understanding of confidentiality and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Preferred professional certification: Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), CA Professional in Human Resources (PHR CA), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST (1-hour lunch) (*May be required to work some weekend days when meeting deadlines)
