Your Role and Responsibilities
Your Specific Responsibilities Will Include
As a Human Resource Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our clients' success and the growth of our organization.
Providing professional HR services to our clients, either as their sole HR professional or by managing customized projects.
Conducting HR audits to identify areas of improvement and non-compliance, and developing strategies for risk mitigation.
Identifying the need for and creating new processes, procedures, and policies.
Handling all aspects of HR, from recruiting and hiring to benefits administration, employee handbooks, LOA, W/C and claims management, performance improvement, employee coaching, discipline, termination, and any other tasks to meet client HR needs.
Offering recommendations to enhance HR infrastructures and implementing tactical plans.
Designing and conducting training and development programs.
Managing Employee Relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and attendance at UI hearings if required.
Coaching management teams.
Setting up, administering, or managing Payroll as needed.
Regularly reporting to and collaborating with the CAHR team and management, as well as participating in remote company meetings.
Traveling to client sites as necessary.
Qualifications And Experience
8-10 years of HR Management or Director experience.
Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Expertise in California Labor, Wage, and Hour Laws.
Professional Certification in Human Resources is highly desired.
Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism.
Well-organized, self-driven, proactive, and responsive, with strong multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online file-sharing tools such as Dropbox.
Fully-equipped remote office with video conferencing-enabled PC, monitor, smartphone, printer/scanner, and reliable high-speed internet.
Salary: $ 40.00 55.00 Per Hour
