Description: The HR Internal Coordinator is responsible for maintaining Balance Now’s internal directory of interns, conducting all internal communications via email and Slack, conducting check-in interviews and exit interviews, coordinating letter of recommendation and certificate of completion for interns, working on projects related to intern engagement, internship satisfaction, Balance Now culture, and organizational development. The ideal candidate must have a general understanding of internal organizational processes and structure, how to conduct surveys and interviews, how to use a spreadsheet, and how to coordinate multiple schedules and dates. This person must possess good interpersonal skills, coordination of dates and times, adaptability to change, organization, and active listening. They must be able to communicate verbally and through writing, think creatively to develop surveys, and think analytically to conduct research and drive organizational development. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, proactive, confident, self-accountable, and analytical.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of interview best practices
- General knowledge of internal organization structure/processes
- Basic knowledge of interviewing process (asking questions/listening)
- Working knowledge of Google Suite and LinkedIn
- Basic knowledge of spreadsheet functions
