As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dedicated HR team to achieve our organization's goals and maintain our positive culture. We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to team members' questions about HR policies and processes, providing guidance and escalating complex inquiries as needed.
Conduct new hire onboarding, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive experience for all team members.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our HRIS database, including personal information, compensation, and employment status changes.
Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of HR files and documentation.
Assist in administrative tasks related to leaves of absence, pay increases, onboarding, terminations, and more.
Collaborate on HR projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of two years' experience in an HR role or a combination of HR coursework/education and relevant experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
Reside in one of the following states: AZ, FL, IN, NC, NV, PA, TN, TX.
Preferred (not Required)
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
Call center experience.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to changing demands.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience with HRIS software and the ability to quickly learn proprietary software.

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
