Position Overview
As an HR Coordinator at Cielo Global Holdings, you will play a vital role in driving the Human Resources function for our organization. You will oversee compensation, recruitment, multi-state compliance, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, investigations, employee relations, engagement, development, culture, and talent management. Your expertise will shape policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with our strategic objectives while fostering a culture that embodies Cielo's values and promotes team retention. This position is available for remote work within the State of Texas.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and train a high-performing team across all functions and business units.
Collaborate with leadership to support organizational objectives and strategy.
Champion Cielo's values, culture, and employee engagement.
Drive talent acquisition, sourcing, hiring, talent management, and retention.
Ensure compliance with federal, multi-state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Oversee the onboarding program for all new hires.
Manage workplace injuries, return-to-work, and worker compensation claims.
Mitigate legal risks and maintain compliance with multi-state laws.
Oversee the annual appraisal and merit cycle.
Administer HRIS and timekeeping systems.
Act as a liaison with PEO.
Manage employee benefits administration and negotiations.
Facilitate professional development, training, and certification for staff.
Provide guidance and coaching to managers and business unit presidents.
Monitor turnover and drive retention initiatives.
Oversee administrative staff and facility operations.
Promote a culture of excellence in customer service.
Stay Updated On Technical Skills And Certifications As Required.
Represent Cielo's values and brand at all times.
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
Experience In The Construction Industry Is Required.
Four years of human resource experience.
Experience With Multi-state Compliance Is Preferred.
Experience with remote staff is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 20 pounds.
Stand or sit for extended periods.
Use a computer terminal for extended periods.
Perform various physical tasks as needed.
Work Environment
Office setting with a quiet to moderate noise level.
