Our valued client in the Medical Center is on the lookout for a dedicated Credentialing Coordinator to join their team! As a Credentialing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our organization's healthcare professionals meet the highest standards of licensure and credentialing across multiple states. As a Credentialing Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
License Management: Efficiently organize and maintain the licensing activities of our practitioners, ensuring precision and completeness.
Database Management: Perform essential data entry tasks to keep our practitioner database up-to-date and accurate.
Ad Hoc Support: Assist with other duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of our credentialing processes.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required, while an associate degree in a related field is a valuable asset.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of office experience in medical staff services, credentialing, licensing, quality control, or a related area is essential.
Certification: While not mandatory, holding a Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) certification is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and effective time management skills are indispensable.
Adaptability: Flexibility is a must to thrive in this dynamic role.
Eligibility: Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
