About the job
Solvd Inc. is looking for an HR Administrator for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Solvd Inc. is a QA and Software Engineering company with a headquarters in Roseville, CA, and multiple locations around the Globe.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard new hires
- Assess training needs and monitor training programs, including creation of training programs if needed
- Develop and implement performance management process with the assistance of line managers in developing performance management
- Act as the principal point of contact for employee complaints and disciplinary matters, including conducting investigations and managing resolution
- Manage flexible working requests
- Create and implement standardized policies and procedures in line with business needs, goals and objectives
- Provide expert professional advice and support to managers and staff on Company’s policies and procedures
- Manage payroll and benefits for employees
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations
- Track and report work hours of the US-based resources as needed
- Provide advice and guidance to managers on individual employee relations cases
Required skills and qualifications:
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- 2+ years of work experience as HR Administrator in an IT company
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communications skills
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment of IT specialists would be a plus
- Deep understanding of national laws related to HR
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources or a related field
- Attention to detail and good judgment.
- Experience in creating HR policies for an IT company
- Human Resources Certification Preferred (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
