Position Overview


National Human Resources Administrator coordinates and coaches the team of HR Clerks so that they can provide effective administrative support to the Human Resources Department, leads national goals tracking and successfully develops and executes regular operating procedure. The ideal candidate must be analytical, detail-oriented, and have great communication skills with the ability to interact and engage with staff across all levels of the organization.


This is a full-time (remote) position based in (Texas) with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or who are willing to relocate.

Compensation & Benefits


Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $50,500 and $59,600, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus based on individual and organizational performance and goal attainment.

  • IDEA may offer a relocation stipend to defray the cost of moving for this role, if applicable.


In This Role You Will


  • Oversee and ensure compliance with Federal and IDEA Leave policies, as well as troubleshooting any issues as they arise
  • Partner with other departments to develop sustainable and functional operating systems, ensure proper implementation of said systems, and provide support where needed
  • Manage National HR Clerk
  • Update and/or provide data and metrics to team members as requested
  • Support regional teams as needed.
  • Maintain and manage IDEA’s Sick Leave Bank, including annual roll out, donations, requests, and committee assignments
  • Train, coach, and mentor the clerks as well as lead weekly Clerk Tactical
  • Answer staff questions and support in the understanding of the process and continuous improvement based on feedback and areas of concern/bottlenecks
  • Act as a liaison between Regional HR Directors/Managers and Clerks

Required Experience


  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Years of experience: 2-3 years in a HR, Compliance/Risk Management or Administrative support capacity; 1 year of leave administration experience


Goals


As part of the National HR team, you will contribute to reaching the following ambitious goals:


  • Ensure that 95% of regional staff have personnel file in TCM that meets the minimum PF checklist by 6/30/2023
  • Ensure that 90% HR-supported manager follow-up's on pay accuracy & OT non-compliance as evidenced by data correlating to either non-disciplinary directive, reprimand, or termination
  • Ensure that 70% of Exit Interviews are completed for voluntary leavers
  • Ensure that tactical meetings are successfully held each week
  • 95% of Service records completed within 10 business days


Physical Requirements


  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
