Role- Business Analyst

Location- Hybrid in Plano, TX

Job type- Contract

Requirements:

We are looking for a Business Analyst in the Mobility development team to help contribute to the quality, cost-effective, and secure operation of this platform. This position will be on the data team, which will consist of a BA, PO, PM for Data Gov Structure.

This team is building out how Toyota is going to share, streamline, create useable data, and recoup cost.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor team performance and provide advice for any necessary process improvements
• Bilingual in Japanese to improve communication between delivery team and customer
• Write and document business requirements
• Work with tech leads to develop and prioritize the backlog and Operations product vision
• Develop, categorize, and prune internal documentation
• Think independently to solve difficult operational and technical problems
• Collaborate with agile teams daily, clarifying details and answering questions about direction or strategy, and actively participate in Scrum events and other planning activities

Qualifications

• Comfortable working as part of a cross-functional team
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multi-task
• 4+ years working as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or Product Analyst
• Cloud experience: AWS experience for cloud platforms such as EC2, Beanstalk, EKS, and/or Lambda
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Word)
• 2+ years operating in a SaaS environment: you should be familiar with high-level concepts of databases, cloud computing (AWS), software development, security, etc. '
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Diagramming software such as Lucid Chart / Visio
• Bilingual ()
• Demonstrated successful experience learning new technologies or overcoming challenges
• Ability to use data analysis concepts to analyze product data
• Detail and process oriented with focus on continuous improvements to maximize efficiencies

Certification-

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• Terraform – Associate
• AWS Serverless Learning Badge
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Has a solid grasp on AWS and all-things serverless. Holds the following certifications:
