Job Description

Position: AWS Backend Developer

Location: DFW, TX (MUST BE LOCAL)

Duration: 12 Months with EXT

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our growing team.
  • AWS Serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, Appsync, DynamoDB and s3.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable and secure backend solutions using.

Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in serverless technology and continuously improve the solutions
  • Design and develop serverless solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, Appsync, Event bridge, DynamoDB, step functions and s3
  • Work with the front-end team to integrate the backend solutions with their applications
  • Implement security measures and best practices for serverless architecture
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Optimize and monitor the performance of the serverless solutions

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of AWS Serverless technologies, including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Good understanding of security best practices and experience implementing them in serverless solutions
  • Experience with creating RESTful APIs and integrating with various data sources
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong experience with serverless architecture, deployment, and testing
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing serverless solutions using AWS technologies

Desirable Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Experience with typescript, Node.js and/or Python is also preferredPosition: Backend Developer
