Job Description

The VP, Client Partnership is responsible to lead, create and manage all client materials, solutions, and relevant activity in support of the global CPO Solutions business. The job is responsible for providing unique solutions for global new and existing opportunities with current and future clients.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Identify, evaluate and recommend potential vendors and/or partners and make recommendations on potential business models and opportunities to explore together
  • Manage the onboarding and management of prospect pipeline and supporting negotiation efforts with clients and business partners
  • Create and maintain relationships with outside companies for potential strategic alliances and/or vendor administration opportunities
  • Work with the team to analyze and price new product and service requests made by existing and prospective clients along with ideas generated both internally and externally
  • Serve as product line subject matter expert for PR and marketing opportunities
  • Partner with business development team in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities for identified portfolio products
  • Demonstrate full and complete understanding of product design, functionality, achievable timelines and pricing options while representing the product line both internally and externally as a subject matter expert
  • Analyze existing product portfolio, identify gaps/opportunities and make recommendations as to how to close these gaps to support the global market
  • Develop and present business plans and justification for new business solutions to pursue directly and/or jointly with business development
  • Oversee reputation management functions leveraging product development partnerships, internal research team, surveys and social media
  • Integrate the product line business issues with ongoing client relationship management needs and problem resolution
  • Manage client level profitability, product and service needs
  • Assist the business development and client teams by helping create on/offline marketing materials, presentations, training materials, event collateral and other supporting materials, as well as attending client presentations as subject matter expert when needed
  • Expand opportunities by sourcing new business ideas through interaction with channel, clients, competitive analysis, industry trends and/or primary research
  • Review final documents on the Request for Proposal preparation and response process

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 10+ years of strategic partnership responsibility and product development and deployment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • Must have proven successful negotiation skills
  • 10+ years of progressively more responsible experience in business leadership roles including P&L and revenue responsibilities as well as expertise with clients and/or prospects
  • Sales background required
