Seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of HR Operations with experience in government contracting to oversee Human Capital operations and functions.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of HR in a government contracting environment. As the Senior Director of HR Operations, you will be responsible for the overall management, planning, and execution of HR activities that support our company’s goals while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will also provide guidance and support to our HR team, managers, and employees on all HR-related matters.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executives, managers, and employees.
- Monitor HR metrics and use data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive HR initiatives.
- Oversee HR functions including onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage HR budgets and resources effectively.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with the HR team to design and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all government contracting requirements, including affirmative action, equal opportunity, and security clearance processes.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI)
- Strong HR systems experience, managing the collection of and management of HCM data.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role, in a government contracting environment.
- Experience with supporting payroll and timekeeping functions as they relate to human capital management.
