The Senior Director of Coaching will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and growth of Spring Health’s Coaching line of business, ensuring the successful growth and delivery of high-quality, personalized coaching services to our members. A senior member of the Operations staff, you will collaborate closely with the product, marketing, clinical, and customer success teams to drive the strategic vision and operational excellence of our coaching offerings.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Design and deliver coaching programs that align with evidence-based practices and meet the specific needs of our members.
  • Provide strong leadership to the cross-functional Coaching team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to drive the evolution and impact of our Coaching programs.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on coaching program performance, outcomes, and impact to share with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and performance feedback to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Coaching line of business, tracking progress and ensuring goals are met.
  • Lead the team responsible for recruiting, onboarding, supporting, and performance managing a diverse network of coaches.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, clinical, marketing, and operations, to drive the integration of Coaching services into the overall Spring Health platform.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure integration of coaching services with therapy and other mental health offerings.
  • Establish and maintain coaching guidelines, protocols, and quality standards to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor program performance, conduct data analysis, and implement improvements based on feedback and insights.
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision, business plan, and budget for the Coaching line of business, aligning with the company's overall mission and goals.


What We Expect From You


  • Data-driven mindset with experience in performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in coaching programs. Added benefit if you have built out accredited coach training programs.
  • Proven experience in operational leadership and/or general management roles, preferably within the mental health or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based coaching methodologies and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of current trends in the mental health landscape, including how Coaching is most effectively applied to drive mental health improvement.


The target salary range for this position is $187,400 - $243,700, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
