Summary Of Position

As the Senior Director, Operations, you will work alongside the Chief Operating Officer and support cross market leaders to facilitate the execution of the vision, mission and cultural norms within Teladoc Health. The candidate will act as general manager and strategic advisor for Business Operations within the company. The responsibilities will include identifying, monitoring, and leading cross market and cross functional organizational strategies which drive growth and business effectiveness.


The ideal candidate should have competencies in financial analysis and modeling, communications and organizational effectiveness, strategic thinking and content creation by way of deep understanding of the business performance and growth expectations. The ideal candidate should also be:

  • Exceptional at communicating across all levels and with all stakeholders


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Identify novel content, business views for SVPs leveraging the open access into various business functions (MMR, MBR, Pipeline Review, Forecasts)
  • Develop or improve Operating Mechanisms for us to align most effectively with our internal stakeholders
  • Work with the teams to build the integrated growth strategies tracking dashboard.
  • Own the roll up OPEX budget- tracking including headcount and liaison monthly with HR and Finance
  • Maintain a strategic backlog of topics for the leadership team
  • Act as a sounding board to senior leadership on matters of strategy, team efficiency, and operations
  • Coordinate communication cadence and channels for leadership team into the organization
  • Work closely with team to translate our Operating Plan, targets and communication elements (leader content, team content, Op Co Content)
  • Pro-actively identify gaps and play the hub for operations enabling quicker more efficient decision making
  • Lead the team supporting general business operations and strategic projects
  • Build the business operations communication elements and content (All Hands, Op Co, or ad-hoc updates) to support improved comms within Operations and with Marketing
  • Monitor and report on activities within partner organizations that have commercial impact. (Product launches, Development work, clinical and/or financial changes)


Qualifications Expected For Position


  • Outstanding facilitation, collaboration, and influencing skills
  • Trustworthy with high integrity, and the ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality
  • Experience in business planning, strategy, operations and some finance preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience with BS or equivalent; MBA is preferred
  • Effective interpersonal skills and strong executive presentation development and delivery skills


The base salary range for this position is $XX,XXX-$XX,XXX. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2023. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
