Director of Product – HR Assist

POSITION / TITLE: Director of Product - HR Assist

The Director of Product - HR Assist is responsible for the growth of business in our Human Resources vertical. You need to develop overall product vision and connect the customer pain points with our solutions and platform. In addition, the Director of Product owns the P&L goals for his/her vertical specific solutions. As the leader of this verticals, you must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy with the ability to drive vision and mission to reality. You must gain quick understanding of the customer problems and quickly develop innovative solutions for the broader market.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop customer use cases, personas and scenarios and present solutions to clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Support, to deliver successful products.
  • Resolve day to day queries from development team based on knowledge of customer business
  • Ensure product documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Define product features and functionality and prioritize product roadmap
  • Ensure demonstration platforms are up to date and relevant to customer requirements
  • Lead product development efforts from ideation to launch.
  • Work with Engineering teams to define product specifications and requirements.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in various platforms that will need to be integrated with the solution.
  • Provide input to QA for creation of test plans and certification criteria. Assist and certify the UAT
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Readiness to travel for short/long durations within North America and outside
  • Own and Drive the P&L of HR Assist solution

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12+ years’ experience in defining and managing core products or business applications through product management required
  • Previous experiencing managing teams of people required
  • Ability to manage in a very fast paced environment with multiple high-level priorities
  • Good knowledge and understanding of software development and web technologies including JSON/XML and AI/ML, NLP required
  • Enthusiastic, sees problems as opportunities, and proactively develops knowledge and skills needed
  • Managing communications and expectations with customers, sales and engineering teams
  • Experience in conducting workshops, consulting sessions for customers
  • Previous professional experience with full lifecycle product lifecycle management required
  • Previous selling & consulting with various HR industry personas including Chief HR Officer, labor unions, Chief of Staff, VP HR, etc required
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience working with selling & deploying of multiple IT self-service tools like Moveworks, Aisera, Leena, ServiceNow, ZenDesk, etc required
  • Previous experience managing P/L required
  • Experience in configuring products based on customer requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in creating presentations and presenting to various levels within the organization and to customers


Nice to Have

  • Experience of working with teams across locations and time-zones in global delivery model
  • Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development
  • Experience of working with teams across locations and time-zones
  • Practical knowledge of agile/iterative development process preferred
  • Knowledge of project management tools, such as Jira


Education Requirements

· Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences and/or MBA preferred


Depending on specific professional experience and geographical location of individuals, the salary for this position ranges from $185,000 - $200,000. Additional wage/bonus/commission and benefit details will be shared during the formal interview process for this full-time employment opportunity.
