Director of Business Development – North America (Independent Contractor) (Remote)
DEALEXEC, a growing, independent executive transaction advisory firm specializing in strategic deal making,is seeking dynamic, driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Directors to join our team.As a Business Development Director, you will play a crucial role in identifying, targeting and generating new clients for our firm.At this time, we are looking for entrepreneurial, driven and proactive individuals to target business opportunities in North America (USA/Canada).This is a remote, independent contractor position, with compensation based and payable upon achieving successful client retentions and revenue-generating engagements for the firm.
Responsibilities:
•Identify target companies and potential clients based on criteria such as company size, revenue, location and industry.
•Leverage networks and industry platforms as sources to contact and engage with potential clients, building valuable connections and relationships.
•Deploy targeted marketing materials that cater to a broad range of potential clients, showcasing the value we offer.
•Share valuable content, engage in discussions, and build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in our target industries.
•Implement lead generation initiatives, nurture leads, and maintain client engagement.
•Encourage satisfied clients to provide testimonials and referrals, leveraging their positive experiences to attract new business.
•Encourage existing clients and contacts to refer new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
•Proven experience in business development and generating new clients, preferably within the professional services industry.
•Strong understanding of target markets.
•Ability to proactively develop and implement effective strategies to reach and engage potential clients.
•Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to leverage platforms like LinkedIn for lead generation.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
•Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
•Familiarity and experience with professional services, transaction advisory, or related industries is a plus.
