RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Corporate Benefit Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration of health and welfare programs to each entity within The Adam Corporation/Group. Duties include advising employees, answering questions, resolving issues, and facilitating benefit enrollments. In addition, the Senior Corporate Benefits Specialist will serve as the main facilitator to external providers and consultants to ensure the ongoing accuracy and success of the health and welfare plan operations. This position reports to the Corporate HR Director.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Conduct annual open enrollment
oProduce annual census for insurance rating
oReview renewal information provided by broker for premium adjustments, plan
changes and assist with recommendations to executive management
oImplement premium rate and/or plan changes within ADP Workforce Now prior
to employee self-service enrollment, if applicable
oPrepare Benefit Enrollment Guide
oCollect manual enrollments and enter all changes and approves online
enrollments
Review and process timely and accurate benefit enrollments within ADP
Workforce Now for new hires, terminations and qualifying life events with
proper supporting documentation
Monitor integration files processing with third party vendors
Verify accuracy of vacation and sick leave accruals and approve transactions as
needed
Administer 401K enrollments, employee loans, employee distributions,
compliance testing, Form 5500 filing, etc.
Administer COBRA notifications
Serve as the first point of contact for notification of a work-related injury or
illness
Administer employee Family Medical Leave Requests
Serve as the main point of contact for employee or manager questions as it
relates to benefit programs
Prepare customized benefit related reporting and monthly insurance billings
Reviews and initiates a high volume of benefit related check requests
Assist with workers’ compensation and unemployment claims as needed
Secondary duties and responsibilities:
Assist HR Director with special projects
Provide back-up and support for some responsibilities of Payroll Administration
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree desired with combined total of 3+ years’ experience in
benefits administration or any equivalent combination of experience and/or
education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been
achieved
Highly Service-oriented with the ability to build collaborative relationships
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
Experience working in a face-paced, dynamic environment with constant
change due to servicing multiple entities
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and consistently meet deadlines
Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
