Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Employ a strategic sales process, end-to-end, securing profitable, profitable recurring revenue for your territory
- Build & management pipeline to achieve territory revenue goals
- Work cross-functionally to document opportunities, market intelligence and VOC via the CRM, forecasting and other corporate reporting
- Leverage our growing portfolio to expand share of wallet within existing accounts
Education and/or Experience
Technical:
- 2+ years Academic or professional experience in Biology, Life Science, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Molecular Diagnostics – knowledge of the genomics workflows employed and challenges faced by our customers
- Passion for professional growth in the Life Science / Biotech business
Business:
- Confidence in using data & technology systems to create & implement territory plans: SalesForce, Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Confidence in growing and managing Key Accounts and/or Large opportunities from the ground up ($100K+)
- Proficient communicator – strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience leading an end-to-end sales process with a hunter mentality: territory planning and prospecting, discovery, analysis, solution design, presentation, negotiating and closing.
- 2+ years of proven field-based sales success, acquiring and growing new accounts while managing and expanding product portfolio adoption within existing accounts
- Experience navigating a complex, technical sales process in a regulated space (ISO-13485 quality systems, NDAs, Supply Agreements)
