The Client Account Assistant (CAA) supports the Secretarial Services Team and the Client Account Specialist Teams ensuring a high level of client service and satisfaction are maintained. The CAA collaborates with the teams by handling time narrative edits and sending invoices to clients. The CAA guarantees timely and accurate support in all areas of the position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Client Account Specialists with editing, proofing and submitting final invoices to clients via email
- All other duties as may be assigned
- Submitting final invoices to clients via email
- All members of the firm participate in our Responsible Business program
- All members of the firm are encouraged to participate in our Responsible Business program
- Other duties as assigned by Client Account Team Lead
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers and peers
- Strong attention to detail
- Exercises good judgment and decision making in performing essential function of position
- Experience working independently, within cross-functional teams, in a collaborative, professional environment
- Ability to focus attention on a task for some length of time is needed to perform the essential functions of the job
- Excellent proofreading and wordsmithing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to prepare accurate and detailed work product
- Basic math skills to perform billing and reporting tasks
TEAMWORK AND APPLIED SKILLS
- Ability to exchange information, present ideas, and report in a clear and concise manner
- High level of business acumen and ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage large amounts of data
- Ability to organize time, prioritize workload effectively, and work independently
- Talent for delivering client service through teamwork
- Reliability, dependability, and strong motivation to respond to requests quickly
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Hands-on experience performing accounting tasks preferred
- Law Firm or professional services background preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business discipline preferred
HOURS
Must be able to work 20-25 hours per week during core hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including required break times. Full time schedule available if desired.
