Our client, a global engineering and manufacturing company that specializes in pumps, valves, and related systems, is hiring for the position of Regional Sales Manager, Industrial.
The company's products are used in a variety of industries, including water treatment, oil and gas, energy, power plants, chemicals, and mining. They are also used for various applications, such as cooling and heating systems, control and drainage systems, and machine-tool cooling. Our client has a global presence, with sales and service offices in more than 100 countries and manufacturing plants in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
The Industrial Regional Sales Manager will develop and manage new equipment sales in diverse industrial markets in the USA. This will include direct customer sales, OEM development as well as establishing a third-party sales network. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an overall team player, with experience managing corporate key accounts, working with engineering firms, supporting sales channel partners, and successfully developing new business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate Terms and Conditions within company guidelines.
- Lead and collaborate with the inside sales support team to meet the order intake, sales, and gross margin goals.
- Develop top-quality level distributors, distributors, customers, OEMs, engineers, contractors, and end-users.
- Update and maintain the accuracy of the proposal log.
- Establish and deploy specific actions to develop relationships to grow direct sales with corporate clients (OEMs and key accounts).
- Writing specifications on products to give the company an advantage over our competition.
- Responsible for key business opportunities at any given stage of the sales cycle.
- Other assignments that may be necessary to support the business.
- Meet or exceed sales goals, update monthly and annual forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align the industrial product portfolio with the USA market, with regard to features and specifications, pricing, lead times, and availability.

- Active Learning – Able to learn quickly and independently on the job. Must be a resourceful and proactive problem solver.
- Computer Skills – Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
- Quality & Productivity – Produces work at a fast rate and with high accuracy. Demonstrates accountability if mistakes occur.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in selling centrifugal pumps and/or rotating equipment.
- Experience with US pump requirements and the Industrial market.
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is highly preferred.
