Regional Sales Manager, Cpg, Nw Us

The Region Sales Manager (RSM) based in a US West city with regional/national serving airport, is primarily responsible for the growth of our food portfolio across our Northwest based Grocery Retailers/Distributors/Wholesalers.

Well-known and well-loved by consumers, this food manufacturer's RSM position calls on Buyers, bring insights filled proposals to grow the business.

For a successful food salesperson, with 5++ years of experience, he/she is also responsible for all aspects of business management; forecasting, pricing, analytics, P/L management, trade management and retail execution. All priorities are centered on delivering accelerated growth across all grocery retailers. The RSM will be part of the West Coast Region Area team, working closely with his entire team on delivering profitable growth and expansion.

Please only apply if you have successful CPG sales experiences and are in the US West with 30 minutes of a major airport. Territory does not include SoCal. That geography is less attractive in a applicant for this role.

• 5+ years retail sales execution responsibility required, in foods/consumer product goods industry.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• Fully versed in all aspects of Syndicated Data tools (IRI/Nielsen/Customer Specific tools)
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently within a large market and multitask across various sales partners with differing priorities.
• Effective time-management & scheduling skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to Travel (20-40%)
• 3+ years direct retail sales leadership or Broker leadership experience preferred.
