The position is at aconsulting firm. To join our team, we are looking for a People Operations Associate with at least three years of experience. This is a special chance for you to contribute your ideas and enthusiasm for developing a helpful and encouraging work environment to a developing organization.
The ideal applicant will have strong interpersonal skills, including the capacity to actively listen, interact, forge connections, handle conflict, and solve problems in a professional manner. They should also have great oral and writing communication abilities. The chosen candidate will also have exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, and be able to produce accurate, high-quality work on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and updating personnel data, such as those pertaining to payroll and benefits
- Creating, maintaining, and evaluating internal and external reports, supporting human resource- or benefits-related audits, and performing other administrative duties as required, including affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance
- Creating and executing policies and practices for human resources
- Supporting and monitoring employee development and training programs
- Helping managers manage performance and implement disciplinary measures
- Taking part in the recruiting and selection procedures, such as creating and posting job listings, interviewing candidates, and screening applicants
- Putting numerous employee engagement strategies in place
- Arranging for the onboarding of new hires; and conducting exit interviews
- Being accessible to respond to concerns about employee human resources and provide support with paperwork as necessary
- Assisting in and recording performance reviews
- The management of our employee benefits packages
Qualifications
- A practical knowledge of human resource principles and procedures
- Prior knowledge of assisting with human resources at a consulting or professional services firm
- A bachelor's degree in human resources or a closely related discipline
- Experience in the field for at least three years
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
