About The Role
The Cloud Operations Leader supports the Enavate Cloud platform and engineering team. The Cloud Operations Leader has oversight of and people management responsibilities for the Cloud Architecture, Cloud Network Engineering, Cloud Database Engineering, and Cloud Systems Engineering teams. The Cloud Operations Leader will collaborate with other Enavate leaders to facilitate major technical projects as well as the day to day support needs and escalations. The Cloud Operations Leader is also responsible for vendor management as it relates to the platform. The Cloud Operations Leader works with the Cloud Lead Architect in reviewing and implementing technical decisions on standards and processes. The Cloud Operations Leader reports to the position of Sr Cloud Leader.
Key Responsibilities
Your day will consist of:

• To include performance evaluations, career advancement, training, development, etc of those teams
• Collection, analysis, and presentation of metrics around cloud costs to senior leadership for incorporation into forecasts, budgets, and P&L.
• Technical decision maker / influencer
• Ensure processes and procedures are adhered to for compliance with SOC, ITAR, CJIS, and HIPAA
• Strategic planning for the lifecycle of the cloud platform including management tools and technologies.
• Main point of contact with vendors of platform related technologies. (Firewall subscriptions, monitoring tools, etc)
• The day to day people management of the senior technical teams in the cloud organization
• Liaise with Service Delivery team to ensure great customer service.
• Management of agreements, licensure, subscriptions, etc.
• Key reviewer and approver of change control to ensure complete, accurate change records

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• High emotional intelligence
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Must demonstrate a high-level understanding of Cloud Computing architecture (VMWare and/or Azure) and datacenter operations
• Strong time management and organizational skills

Bonus Points For

• Previous Azure CSP program management experience
• Azure migration experience
• Strong ServiceNow skills
• Previous MSP experience in a high level technical or leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS or equivalent experience

Working Environment

• Some travel to Tampa HQ office expected
• 24/7 on call rotation for management escalations for critical situations
• Office/Home Environment
