We are seeking a General Manager/ Director of Operation will lead a Part 135 growing charter and medical flight services business in Southwest Florida. This includes refining the company’s strategic growth plans, implementing and executing the growth plans, realizing efficiency and profitability initiatives, and maintaining and best managing the company’s existing business all in concert with the operational, maintenance and safety leadership team. The GM must be a strategic thinker, have relationships that could be helpful for growth and have a track record of identifying and implementing day-to-day business solutions. He/She will report to the CEO and have ultimate accountability for driving excellence and leading all functions in the business, including sales, customer service, pilots, operations, maintenance, safety and financial performance.

Position Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Aviation-related major or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Ideally would have had responsibility, oversight of, management of, or strong collaboration with charter sales/marketing, tourism sales/marketing and/or EMS (air ambulance, organ transfers, etc.)
- Strong analytical and financial skills to develop and manage financial, operational and sales metrics.
- Proven successful operational leadership/experience managing a team of over 50 employees and 5+ Cessna Citation aircraft to include Flight Operations, Sales/Marketing, Aircraft Maintenance, and Customer Service teams.
- Minimum of 5 years FAR 135 charter and/or tourism diversified operational leadership experience (inclusive of GM and Chief Pilot)
- Extensive experience managing budgets and P&Ls exceeding $10M in annual revenue.
- Meet FAA 14 CFR Part 119.71 and 119.69(a) requirements. Must have at least three years supervisory or managerial experience within the last six years in a position that exercised operational control over any operations conducted under Part 121 or Part 135.
- Proven general management and leadership experience with evidence of developing and executing company strategy, increasing revenue.
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office including proficiency in Word and Excel spreadsheet preparation.
