Executive Director Of Operations

The incumbent in this position leads and manages the day-to-day operations and provides business support to the programs under the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Executive Operations Office. The individual implements short and long range organizational goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures all departments reporting to this Executive Office, including Building and Grounds, Seminole Media Productions and Seminole Tourism, BC RV Campground, Billie Swamp Safari and Swamp Water Café, Okalee Village, BC Sem Fuel, Tribal Inspector’s Office and the Heritage & Environmental Resources (HERO) Departments. The incumbent oversees and leads in the analysis, structure and development of alternative revenue opportunities, tribal investments and tribally owned businesses.

Master’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Business Management, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, or related field is required. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in developing, marketing or promoting business operations with a minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a senior leadership level is required. An equivalent combination of education / training and experience may be considered. Knowledge of Tribal regulations and business commercial laws and regulations is highly desirable. Possession of a valid Florida Drivers Licensed is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel to all reservations and other national and international locations. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
