Job Description

The Director of Operations for QLM is responsible for overseeing the overall operational efficiency, strategic planning, and execution of daily operations within the organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the staffing industry.


$90,000 - $100,000 + Quarterly Bonus


Job Duties:

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and adjust operational processes accordingly.
  • Process Development: Design and implement standardized operational processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all areas of the staffing company. Continuously review and improve processes to drive productivity and effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the operations team. Encourage innovation, solicit feedback from staff and clients, and implement changes to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for operational improvement and efficiency enhancement.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of operational staff, including recruiters, coordinators, and support personnel. Set performance goals, provide guidance, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish quality control measures and monitor operational performance metrics to ensure service level agreements are met or exceeded. Implement corrective actions when necessary to address any deficiencies.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the operational budget. Monitor and control expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Client Relationship Management: Collaborate with the sales team to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand client needs and ensure operational processes are aligned to deliver exceptional service.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of staffing industry trends, best practices, and operational strategies.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using technology and software systems relevant to the staffing industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven insights.
  • 5+ in a leadership role within the construction staffing and recruitment industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
