Oscar Energy are looking for an experienced utility-scale renewable energy developer to join San Francisco based company, working hybridly or remote. Reporting directly into the Head of Development as part of a well established leadership team, you will have 8+ years experience of solar or battery storage development.

Managing a large portfolio of complex projects, you will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from initiation to completion, including managing project teams, overseeing project schedules and budgets, and working with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within the given time frame and budget.
Responsibilities:
·Conduct market analysis to identify solar and energy storage project opportunities in North America.
·Stay informed about industry, economic, and competitive trends to identify new market solutions.
·Engage with industry groups to stay current on new market solutions.
·Manage real estate matters for solar projects, including site control, title policy, lease agreements, land purchases, and landowner relationships.
·Obtain permits needed for solar and energy storage projects, including local land use approvals, state permits, environmental clearances, and threatened and endangered species permits.
·Manage interconnection applications for solar projects, including knowledge of ISO/RTO processes, engineering support, and negotiations.
·Support project sale, debt and equity closings, strategic partnerships, and asset divestment for solar projects.
You:
·Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in a field related to business, urban planning, engineering, environment, or finance.
·Possess more than 8 years of experience in developing solar and/or battery projects.
·Have a proven record of leading development teams on projects of 50MW+ in size.
·Demonstrate a deep understanding of North American renewable energy markets and development practices.
·Show expertise in land development, permitting, entitlement, and interconnection processes.
·Exhibit strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and multi-tasking.
·Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
·Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including senior management, clients, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
·Possess excellent presentation, time management, and interpersonal skills.
·Represent the company professionally in all internal and external communications.
·Take a decisive approach to decision making and problem solving.
