What To Expect
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to join our People Operations and Programs team. The program manager will support business process transformation initiatives for cross-functional teams within the HR organization. The Program Manager will lead business process analysis, key metric definition and data analysis, process and system strategy definition, requirement documentation, internal/external stakeholder alignment, and program planning. The Program Manager will be responsible for tracking progress on initiatives, communicating program status to leadership, and driving accountability and partnership across program and product teams. The Program Manager will develop a deep knowledge of interdepartmental dependencies and be responsible for driving the resolution of cross functional misalignment as needed. This role requires a strong and dedicated team player who is familiar with business operations, is strategic, possesses strong analytical skills, has acute attention to detail, and executes at a high caliber.
What You’ll Do

• Business Process Transformation Projects
• Partner with Operations teams to document current business processes and create/use data insights to align on highest impact areas of improvement
• Partner with Operations teams and leadership to ensure launch readiness and align on communications strategy
• Present recommendations to cross functional teams
• Support process improvement, process automation, and system enhancement initiatives for the Human Resources organization
• Partner with Product/Engineering teams to ensure priorities are on technology roadmap; align on launch timelines and communicate to partners
• Own and drive issue resolution
• Monitor project success through data insights
• Track requirements, development, and testing progress/closure
• Partner with Operations teams to define business processes, create process documentation, and align on system asks/priority
• Track and document project progress
• New product launches
• Partner with HR leadership to define list of strategic priorities
• Key workstreams include compensation, performance, benefits, people operations, onboarding, learning, leaves, mobility, compliance
• Create proposals for policy, process, system, and organizational structure changes

What You’ll Bring

• Impeccable organizational skills and acute attention to detail
• 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects
• Global business experience a plus
• Confident and articulate communicator
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence and Project software applications for analysis and presentation
• Excellent business judgment
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to provide professional presentations to senior level managers and executive leadership
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Self-starter who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities with minimal direction
• Ability to work within a complex and fluid, fast-paced, demanding work environment
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal business functions around the globe as well as external advisors

Expected Compensation
$68,000 - $222,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
