Job Description
Riot’s People team exists to help Rioters make better decisions around its talent. We bring our expertise to all of those typical HR activities such as hiring, on-boarding, training and development, diversity and inclusion, performance management, benefits, perks, compensation, big events, labor relations, off-boarding so that all Rioters can flourish.


As the People Program Manager, you will drive and support outcomes for Riot in the area of talent management by supporting the design and strategy as well as driving the execution and management of the processes for talent management at Riot. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent Management & Organization Effectiveness, you will apply your expertise in talent programs and process execution to Riot’s global talent management suite of solutions. With your team and other People Team collaborators, you will plan and execute Riot’s fit for purpose solutions in the areas of goal setting, performance assessment and management, talent profiles, talent review, succession and development planning, among other opportunities for impact. As a talent professional , you will also meaningfully contribute to Riot’s talent program and solution designs and outcomes. While an individual contributor, this role will manage work and process execution across teams. This is a highly collaborative and exciting opportunity to be involved in high-impact, high-visibility, strategic talent activities and improvements in a fast-paced organization and mission driven organization.


Responsibilities


  • Partner with People Systems Team to ensure Riot talent systems (e.g. Workday Talent module, LMS, etc.) are configured to support Talent programs. Articulate requirements to the People Systems Team team and support testing as needed.
  • Evaluate existing processes and make recommendations for continuous improvement of the user experience for key audiences, while ensuring fair and transparent systems across talent programs and supporting Riot’s goals to continue to strengthen our pipeline of diverse talent and leaders
  • Partner with L&D, Internal Communications, HRBPs and others to ensure Riot has the necessary training and communication resources across key Riot channels, This includes developing engaging and high impact communications and artifact for a variety of audiences, and
  • Support continuous improvement of program design as needed during each cycle, including understanding metrics of success and feedback and designing and implementing updates
  • Partner with regional stakeholders and ensure consistent delivery across regions
  • Plan and sExecute the Performance Management program components and Succession Planning, partnering with your team and other People Team collaborators
  • Proactively collaborate with multiple People Team and Enterprise partners including HR Shared Services, L&D, Compensation, Employee Relations, HRBPs, Communications and Legal teams
  • Execute analysis of data and analytics related to talent programs and outcomes and develop assets and storytelling to distill actionable insights to various stakeholders, driving awareness of critical or differentiating findings that help develop individualis, teams, organizational capabilities and Riot People programs
  • Partner to support effective program communication and change management as needed across Riot stakeholders (HRBPs and other People Team collaborators, employees, managers, key stakeholders) including preparing and reporting out results, maintaining the dashboards for key stakeholders in the processes, and developing resources for managers, Rioters, and relevant People team partners.


Desired Qualifications


  • Proven track record of juggling multiple work streams while achieving great results
  • Appropriate balance of subject matter expertise and pragmatism of how to apply theory in a business environment
  • University degree (BA/BS) required
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities while driving impactful results
  • Critical thinker with the ability to take a data-informed, analytical approach to solving complex problems
  • Ability to build deep relationships and effectively partner cross-functionally and globally
  • Strong task-orientation and organization management skills with experience running complex, global programs
  • 5+ years of program/project management experience in a similar role at a fast-growing tech company or consulting/professional services organization; preference for work in talent management programs (Performance Management, Development, Succession Planning, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and experience communicating effectively with partners at all levels of the organization (preferably strong written and presentation skills)
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills; ability to synthesize and present complex insights and recommendations clearly

(Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $99,500.00 - $140,100.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
