The Opportunity:

Our client is looking for a Luxury Goods Buyer. This is a crucial role where you will be responsible for shaping the luxury retail experience and contribute to the overall success and profitability of the retailer.

Responsibilities will include:

• Researching and identifying luxury brands, designers, and products.
• Build and maintain relationships with luxury brands.
• Participate in merchandising activities, which may include setting up displays, arranging products in an appealing manner, and optimizing store layouts to maximize sales.
• Provide monthly update and reports to vendors that reflect goals and trends, giving them insights into sales performance and the market.
• Staying up to date with the latest fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market developments within the luxury industry.
• Track and receive orders in collaboration with warehouse managers to ensure timely delivery and efficient inventory replenishment.
• Attend market meetings on a quarterly basis to discuss upcoming season, allocate buy-ins for specific brands, and plan for new product launches.
• Monitor sales performance against goals, provide feedback and strategies to generate incremental sales, and analyze trends to make informed business decisions.
• Create well- rounded assortment of luxury products, considering factors such as style, quality, price, range, and customer demand.
• Coordinate with brands, manage orders and maintaining relationships.
• Prepare order recommendations for new items and ensure they are placed in a timely manner to maintain inventory levels and mee customer demand.
• Collaborate with multiple vendors to achieve brand sales targets, maintain brand presentation standards, and facilitate the order process.
