Sr Procurement Buyer Jobs

As a Sr. Procurement Buyer, within the Honeywell Government Center of Excellence (GCOE) and supporting the Clearwater, FL site, you will be responsible for the purchase of goods, materials and services taking into account price, quality and delivery to ensure continuity of supply and that the best value is obtained. You will utilize skills in data analytics, purchasing, marketing, problem solving and negotiation to ensure problems are resolved ethically and professionally, and established goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with strategic procurement and US Government Contracting requirements (FAR, DFAR, FAR15, etc.,)
• Document price analysis techniques as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Conduct Market Research on all procurements
• Negotiate with qualified suppliers and identify cost reduction opportunities
• Conduct competitive, best value, and single/sole source bids
• Document and/or understand the requirements of Advance Notification & Consent, Simplified Acquisition Threshold, Small Business Plan, and CAS
• Utilize knowledge of purchasing price thresholds including TINA
• Analyze bids and formulate purchase recommendations
• Interact with multiple departments at all levels of internal and external organizations

YOU MUST HAVE

• Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements
• AT least 3 years of procurement/supply chain experience

WE VALUE

• Strong communication skills and being a team player
• English fluency,, any other language is a plus
• Demonstrated competencies in the sourcing of direct material
• Good technical knowledge of SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
• Ability to analyze, organize, and report data
• 1+ year experience with US Government Contracting (FAR, DFAR, FAR15, etc.,)
• Microsoft Office suite of software proficiency
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent inter-personal and negotiation skills
