Role Overview
As a Design Operations Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our design process, ensuring seamless execution and the successful delivery of exceptional digital experiences. Your responsibilities will include managing the developer handoff, maintaining design systems, documenting designs for developers, facilitating refinement sessions, and conducting QA testing for releases. Additionally, you will provide valuable consultation on new features and developments while maintaining our design system reference site. Your contributions will play a vital role in meeting the needs of our clients and users.
Key Responsibilities
Design Systems Management:
Maintain and update design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Document designs for seamless collaboration between designers and developers.
Facilitate refinement sessions to improve design processes.
QA Testing And Release Management
Ensure releases meet design standards through thorough QA testing.
Collaborate with developers to ensure design integrity during the release process.
Consultation And Collaboration
Collaborate with teams to provide guidance on new features and developments.
Offer expertise and support in maintaining the design system reference site.
Qualifications
A strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
Experience in managing design systems, including guidelines and libraries.
Familiarity with front-end design implementation, including HTML and CSS.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in web development and/or design methodologies.
Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks.
Knowledge of database applications and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently or collaboratively.
Customer service-oriented mindset with a strong focus on the user perspective.
Initiative, self-starter, and a creative problem solver.
Familiarity with website content management tools.
Experience in prototyping, particularly with Figma.
Knowledge of CMS platforms (preferred).
