WAC Lighting is adding an Inside Sales Specialist to add to our successful and growing sales support team. You will be a pivotal part of supporting our clients through customer service, technical support, and as a resource to the outside sales team managing the existing accounts of our business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for being a strong contributor to a dynamic team environment, being proactive and results oriented, and possessing strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
· Act as a customer liaison by providing exceptional professional customer service.
· Answer incoming customer and sales representative inquires in an accurate, timely, efficient and courteous manner.
· Provide customer service support, response and tracking for problem areas with respect to delivery, packaging, product conditions, customers returns or other terms and conditions.
· Review, submits and track customer orders from initial quoting to delivery and support.
· Assist in preparing simple product layouts, estimates, quotations and proposals in support of new and follow-on business.
· Handle technical troubleshooting for lighting products - Training provided.
· Effectively manage multiple projects and assignments through completion.
· Maintain a high level of product knowledge in order to provide a proposal of fixtures suitable for the lighting projects needs.
· Work with the Territory Sales Manager to review contracted representative’s roles and responsibilities, commission inquiries, territory coverage, etc.
· Develop strong relationships with all decision makers including distributors, specifiers, architects, designers, and project managers.
· Promote and support company stocking and display program initiatives as related to channel segment.
· Coordinate with internal support teams, including but not limited to, Quotations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Accounting, Operations, and Quality Control.
· Work with sales representatives to aggressively seek out, and pursue new business prospects.
· Collect and prepare reoccurring reports to analyze data concerning territory behavior, responding to customer needs and industry trends.
· Record, maintain and vet leads through our Sugar CRM platform to maximize sales opportunities.
· Attend and participate in virtual sales presentations and live tradeshows within the respected territory.
Requirements:
· 2+ years of experience working directly with customers, preferably in a remote-sales or call center environment.
· Superior customer service skills.
· Strong interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
· Attention to detail in composing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks/demands and get results.
· Strong organization and project management skills.
· Mature judgement and decision-making ability.
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and commissions.
· Strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications – Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Sugar CRM and SAP a big plus.
