Hardesty. LLC, on behalf of our client, a multi-state healthcare platform in Southern California, is looking for an experienced Human Resources executive.
This teammate is a human resources systems thinker who will help us to thoughtfully design the end-to-end employee lifecycle – and then implement processes, tools and platforms that prepare our organization for scale. It is a unique chance to make meaningful contributions to developing our model and furthering our mission.
Above all, this teammate will serve as a very visible culture leader that sets the tone in how we develop core capabilities for attracting, nurturing and enabling a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce that reflects the diversity of the patients we serve.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves under the direction of the CEO and specific activities may include:
- Provide human resource advice, counsel, guidance, and training to managers at all levels of the organization on performance improvement and maximization, conflict resolution, and disciplinary meetings. Interprets policy and procedures to employees and managers; guides managers to act in accordance with organizational policies and related laws.
- Demonstrates and applies a deep knowledge of principles of federal and multi-state employment laws when responding to employee relations issues. Represents Human Resources in various forums and meetings to include presentations and speaking assignments.
- Performs other duties as requested by the Company’s CEO.
- Direct supervision of Human Resource team.
- Oversee the development and organization of employment policies and programs that enhance the organizational culture through employee events and recognition programs in a hybrid work environment.
- Oversee the compensation and performance appraisal and objective-setting initiatives for employee annual and mid-year reviews, manager feedback, coaching, and facilitation of performance management training.
- Oversee human resource data analytics to assess and track workforce metrics on diversity and inclusion, retention, turnover, and talent acquisition and determine approaches to human resource issues.
- Develop and deploy employment policies, compensation, benefits, and recognition programs that will drive a performance culture.
- Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation and payroll, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations, performance and talent management, training, recognition, and engagement.
- Oversees and maintains optimal function of the organizations internal human resource information and payroll systems, which may include database management, system integrations, custom queries and reports, technical support, and troubleshooting to employees.
- Oversee employee development programs and plans with managers and employees for training, career development, and succession planning for the organization’s continuing growth, productivity, and employee retention.

● Operationalizes HR strategy to seamlessly execute and drive function specific outcomes.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree and a certification by a recognized human resource organization required.
● At least ten years of human resources experience with at least four years in a supervisory role.
● Knowledge of federal and multi-state human resource regulations.
● Knowledge and experience with HR information systems.
● Experience administering employee benefit plans in the health and welfare areas.
● Experience using data analytics to help determine approaches to human resource issues.
● Experience administering a multi-state workforce.
● Ability to conduct various training programs for the workforce.
● Ability to maintain the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee information.
● Experience in assisting with talent acquisition efforts.
