Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Healthcare Appeals/Denials Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring efficient appeals and denials management, while providing exceptional service to our valued members.
Requirements
Proven experience in areas such as A&G, Medical Management, Prior Authorization, Utilization Management, or Doctor's Office Operations.
Strong customer service background within the healthcare sector.
Familiarity with diverse insurance lines such as HMOs and PPOs.
Proficiency in written communication and typing skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
High School Diploma or GED.
Compensation
Competitive hourly pay of $22.
Comprehensive benefits package available for full-time employees after 90 days.

Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Appeals/Denials Coordinator, you will:
Engage with members in a professional manner, documenting interactions and conducting thorough research using available resources and systems.
Collaborate with providers, members, and both internal and external parties to facilitate effective communication.
Develop written responses to members, demonstrating strong writing skills and meeting deadlines.
Contribute to a positive team environment by actively participating and sharing your critical thinking abilities.
Performance Expectations
Maintain availability and accessibility during designated working hours.
Participate in in-person training sessions during the new hire onboarding period.
Adhere to the provided schedule, acknowledging the importance of consistency.
