GM Energy recently launched two product lines using the power of Ultium Technology - Ultium Home and Ultium Commercial to provide integrated energy solutions for residential and commercial customers respectively. This disruption is backed by the bold GM vision of zero crashes, zero emissions and zero congestion.

Summary of Responsibilities

We are seeking to hire Manager – Ultium Home Dealer Sales Channel to establish and lead our GM dealership sales teams for launch later this year, including: Ultium Home Referral Dealer Sales and Ultium Home Authorized Dealer Sales channels. This role is responsible for establishing processes, rewards programs and execution standards for our dealer sales channels, and for the sales performance of our EV chargers, accessories and Ultium Home V2H, V2G and V2X products within the GM Dealer network. This role will produce results that don’t need explaining via a highly trained and engaged Dealer sales network in a customer focused manner.

This position reports to the Associate Director of Sales – Ultium Home

Key Responsibilities

  • Liase with Chevrolet, Buick, GMC & Cadillac Sales teams to communicate objectives and programs across all dealer-facing sales team members
  • Develop sales incentive programs and structures to ensure profitable objective attainment within the Dealer Sales Network
  • Establish Ultium Home Dealer Sales Channels: Referral Dealer Sales; Authorized Dealer Sales
  • Develop a high level of engagement and performance across the GM Dealer Network for Ultium Home products & services.
  • Develop sales performance objectives, standards and attainment plans for Online Enrollment and for each of the Ultium Home products across Dealer Sales Channels
  • Develop CX performance program across Dealer Sales Channels; track and monitor performance and help lead CX resolution process with product and CX team members and dealerships.

Required Skills / Experience / Education

  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time, as necessary to execute responsibilities of the position
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills required to build and maintain relationships across an organization.
  • Expert-level knowledge of EVs, EV Charging Networks, Home EV Charging products and Installation services.
  • Relentless drive for results in a complex, ever-changing environment with a high level of integrity.
  • Experience establishing sales performance standards and KPIs within a dealer network preferred.
  • 3+ years experience leading a high-performing, customer focused sales team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced start-up technology environment is preferred.
  • Strong intellectual horsepower and proven ability to take complex technical product offerings and simply them for consumers and sales teams is required.
  • Previous experience in Energy Sales and Technology / SaaS sales is an asset
  • A prolific communicator with highly proficient presentation skills and strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer software and analytics skills, especially Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel and the ability to take complex amounts of data and develop key insights and actions.
  • Experience within automotive sales and specific knowledge of GM sales operations across Chevrolet, Buick, GMC & Cadillac brand teams is required. Experience as a District Sales Manager preferred.

COMPENSATION : The median level of salary compensation for this role is $112,141.80 - 175,401.24 USD Annual
