Leavitt Machinery is actively searching for an Industrial Equipment Sales Manager. Based out of our Portland, OR branch, you will be responsible for coaching and managing our team of sales and rentals representatives to help them successfully achieve monthly targets and maximize their potential. What You Bring:

We are looking for a sales leader that is driven, creative, and energetic, with excellent communications skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn, develop, and thrive.

  • A heads-up offense attitude, always looking for opportunities to offer better solutions to existing problems
  • Proven sales ability; strong cold-calling, qualifying, prospecting, and presentation skills
  • Proven success as a B2B sales representative for 5+ years
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to travel within US and Canada (valid passport and/or enhanced driver’s license) (required)
  • Strong ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Excels in a fast-paced work environment
  • Maintaining a valid driver’s license (required)
  • Willing to learn, able to work with minimal supervision, and resilient when facing challenges
  • Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and people management skills
  • Post-secondary education in Sales, Business Management, or a related discipline

Your Activities:

The Industrial Equipment Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Provide coaching and professional development to each of your sales and rentals representatives to ensure they have the opportunity to hit monthly targets
  • Review new accounts opened by your sales representatives to ensure all required information is complete
  • Host weekly team sales meetings and one-on-one meetings with all sales representatives
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans to close them
  • Review inventory, upcoming lease expiries, and fleet management and rental return damage summaries
  • Generate leads and nurture client relationships
  • Contribute to overall company drive for success and growth through sharing of sales wins and insights, marketing opportunities, customer feedback
  • Review and provide input on target client opportunities while ensuring alignment with overall account strategy
  • Build collaborative partnerships by delivering more value than the competition; superior customer service, responsiveness, promotional support, and true understanding of each channel's business building opportunities

Earnings range: $145,000 to $165,000 base salary based on experience and qualifications
