The Role:
WorkSpan is looking for a Sales Engineer to join the sales team which is responsible for SaaS solutions that help companies manage their co-sell partnerships and scale revenue growth. As a Sales Engineer, you will be the product and customer process expert and partner with account executives to drive sales and customer adoption in the fast-growing ecosystem business management market.
Responsibilities
- Support architecture, compliance, and infosec reviews with customers; development of responses to customer RFIs and RFPs
- Partner with sales team to provide customers with in-depth product and implementation overview and address customers’ business and technical questions during sales cycle
- Collaborate with internal Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing teams to gain deep understanding of new products and features and share customer feedback
- Lead proof of concept projects for new products, features, and integrations
- Create customer-facing product demos and overview content, as well as internal sales enablement assets
- Engage customer stakeholders to quickly understand and document project scope, business and technical goals, workflows, and requirements
Qualifications
- Consultative, trusted advisor approach to customer engagement
- Successful track record of supporting sales and customer adoption goals
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-performance environment
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks across competing projects
- Continual learning and problem-solver mindset
- Bachelor’s degree
- Solid working knowledge of REST API, APEX, JS, CSS, HTML, JSON
- Passion for customer success and providing an engaging customer experience at every step
- Highly motivated and team-oriented, with bias for action
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce CRM or applications built on Salesforce platform
- Ability to learn quickly and build expertise in SaaS solutions and system integrations
- 7+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architect, or similar roles at B2B SaaS companies
