Whip Media is hiring a VP, Sales based in Europe who will be responsible for assisting in driving the growth of Whip Media in select accounts and markets in the EMEA region. Our ideal candidate is a sales veteran with excellence in strategic customer development, sales opportunity creation and closing high value enterprise SaaS deals, using an extensive network of contacts within the entertainment ecosystem. This individual revels in a responsible role that rewards success against clear targets.
What You Will Do:
- Keep appraised of changing market conditions, competitive landscape and new technologies
- Take overall responsibility to contribute to and implement a comprehensive sales and business growth strategy that maximizes Whip Media's opportunities across all products and services that Whip offers to broadcasters, networks, OTT providers and content owners
- Attend and contribute actively at relevant industry trade shows when circumstances allow
- Cultivate and develop effective business relationships with senior influencers and key decision makers across each account
- Develop strong relationships with all supporting teams so that these internal teams actively contribute to sales success
- Position the company as a strategic supplier to customers and strive to attain “trusted advisor” status
- Follow up with the customers in after-sales process to ensure smooth project implementation and transition to account management
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Keep Salesforce CRM system complete and up to date with sales forecasting and reporting
- Build and develop new customer opportunity MEDDPIC plans; detail and implement strategies for successful execution within these clients
- Achieve and strive to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and ensure target margins are achieved
- With the support of technical resource, put together bids and proposals. Conduct all negotiations and close deals with support where required
- Work with SVP to develop and maintain quarterly territory forecasts and create and deliver strategic account plans that accurately predict revenue on a quarterly basis
What You Will Bring:
- Significant experience navigating long sales cycles
- Availability and willingness to travel in the region
- Highly experienced in selling complex enterprise software solutions
- Ability to manage successfully sales processes with multiple stakeholders
- Relationship oriented, both internally & externally with great interpersonal skills
- Driven by performance objectives and able to close deals
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines
- Established high-level relationships in pay tv operators, broadcasters, streaming platforms and major film studios in Europe and/or Middle East
- Fluency in an additional language to English is beneficial
- Excellent written, verbal and presentational communication skills
- A proven new business sales person, with clear evidence of a successful track record in delivering focused in new accounts and a track record of having delivered to and exceeded targets
- Ability to operate at all seniority levels from board level to operational functions
- Proven ability to understand the business and technical requirements of telco/paytv operators, broadcasters, OTT providers and video content companies in order to effectively position Whip Media Group and sell software as solutions to those problems in the international market
