Job Description

About The Position

Qognify, a part of Hexagon, is seeking to hire a dynamic individual with high energy and drive to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager – Video Management Systems for the Chicago/Midwest Territory. This is a full-time remote role with travel to clients.

The Channel Sales Manager – Midwest Territory will be responsible for driving sales growth in the midwestern region. They will be responsible for ensuring sales and revenue targets are met and exceeded. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of success in sales and channel management.

What you will do?

  • Train and onboard new channel partners
  • Review and adjust existing sales strategies for the territory
  • Lead the midwestern region channel sales efforts
  • Produce and exceed sales and revenue targets
  • Create and deliver tailored product presentations to include application studies, financial justifications and benefits of Qognify's products & service
  • Monitor the market and competitors and provide feedback to the leadership
  • Develop, maintain and manage relationships with channel partners in region
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of sales pipeline

What you bring?

  • Apply experience and judgment to assess situations efficiently and effectively to meet goals
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce (or similar CRM program)
  • 5 + years of demonstrated track record selling VMS
  • Ability to travel though territory and US about 30%, including minimal global travel
  • Experience selling in at least 2 of following verticals: Transportation (Airports/Mass Transit), Education, Utilities, Large Govt & Federal, Safe City, & Corporate 1000 organizations
  • Working understanding of Network Video preferred
  • Understanding of the IP Video Security Market preferred
  • Ability to develop relationships and any level including C-suite or VP level customers
  • Demonstrated skills/knowledge/understanding of operational business processes beyond the technology focus, as the VMS space deeply touches customers business operations
  • Strong commercial and solution selling capabilities
  • Have attention to detail and ability to gather complete and accurate information, in contexts of varying complexity
  • College degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related degree preferred
