About Our Opportunity

As a VP of Channel Sales/Large Opportunities, you will be responsible for developing strategic plans in securing new business and executing on new business partnerships with Third Party Administrators, Captives, and other large health plan distributors. You’ll drive sales of our Healthcare Ecosystem Optimization Platform (HEOP) through these partnerships seeking to increase revenue and market share.

To be successful in this role, you will bring a proven track record of success in sales, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and the ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.

Things You’ll Do Here:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and industry leaders to increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities. Leverage these relationships to enhance the company's reputation and expand its reach.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and lead generation. Develop effective sales techniques to pursue these opportunities and win new business.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about industry trends, developments, and emerging technologies to ensure that the company remains competitive and relevant. Share this knowledge with the team to enhance their expertise and effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget to ensure that resources are allocated effectively to achieve sales goals. Monitor expenses to ensure that they are in line with the budget and adjust as necessary. Provide regular reporting on sales performance and expenses to senior management.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to build relationships with prospects and industry leaders. Use these events as an opportunity to showcase the company's products and services, establish thought leadership, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. Identify opportunities to improve revenue growth and increase market share. Continuously evaluate and refine the sales strategy to ensure its effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain sales metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of the sales strategy and to identify areas for improvement. Use these metrics to identify areas for improvement and to make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure effective execution of the sales strategy.

Requirements:

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 7+ years of experience in a business development or sales role within the healthcare, insurance, or related industries.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Knowledgeable of healthcare plan administration and/or self-funded plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

A plus if you have:

  • Knowledgeable in NCQA, URAC, AAAHC, and other State and Federal standards.
  • CPCS or CPMSM certification or willingness to obtain certification within a year.
