Our client, a market leading and innovative start-up Ingredients group, is recruiting a newly created Sales Manager for this excellent opportunity in a high growth business and division. Reporting to the SVP & Sales Director this position will be part of the National structure and be responsible for driving commercial performance across the US.
Key responsibilities include: Be a Sales & technical expert in the ingredient product range, managing existing US accounts and linking closely with the regional sales teams, setting long term strategic objectives across both new business and existing account potential; Working with your internal Marketing and R&D/Innovation teams to support growth and new business in emerging markets and customers whilst ensuring pricing and margin management strategies are consistent; Build long standing relationships with customers across R&D, Marketing and Purchasing teams; Supporting and developing best in class sales capability across the region; Working closely with the client and internal teams to ensure the business is developing appropriate product innovation.
To apply, candidates MUST HAVE proven Sales Manager/Key Account Management working in the B2B food ingredient sector with experience of Value added Food & Beverage ingredients. This newly created position requires a "hunter" mindset given the start up remit but they have developed a range of market leading products to help this launch. You will have experience of managing and developing both new and existing business across new customers and regions. You will be Degree educated (Food, sciences) and ideally have 5+ years Sales or Product management experience in B2B ingredients. With a solution sales background, you will have led senior level negotiations.
