Job Description
Location: Camarillo, CA
Job Summary:
The Global Payroll Manager will directly manage the US and Canada payroll. This role will work to maintain sound payroll policies, procedures, controls and compliance in accordance with best practices. The Global Senior Payroll Manager will manage a team of domestic payroll professionals.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies, while assessing and enhancing internal controls
  • Monitor government regulations and changes in labor law
  • Manage processing of bi-weekly US and Canada payroll to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately
  • Support audit deliverables related to payroll
  • Manage relationship with US and Canada payroll vendor to ensure processes are effective and efficient
  • Drive continuous improvement of payroll systems, tools, and associated processes by identifying and recommending solutions to address process improvement and automation opportunities to streamline and optimize operational effectiveness; Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders (i.e., Human Resources, Finance and IT) to evaluate reporting, communicate updates and prioritize improvement opportunities and to ensure seamless systems integration, process efficiency, and standardization
  • Review and approve payroll and bonus journal entries and monthly reconciliations
  • Manage the performance, goals and development of team including formal supervision of the US and Canada payroll teams
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Vendor management experience with a comprehensive payroll outsourcing model
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years of managing multi-state US and Canada payroll process
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, with little supervision

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $87,500 - $137,500. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
